My bargain Birkin!..

Hi everyone..So last week I went into Tesco (a huge supermarket here in UK that sells everything) and wandered upstairs to where all the clothes are and as soon as I walked over to the bag section this beauty caught my eye.
So no, this post is not about a real Birkin (I wish)! but I was shocked at what a great similar design it is. To be honest it was more the colour that attracted me, It's a gorgeous emerald, turquoise greeny colour! So I've been lusting after it ever since I laid my peepers on it and today after work I got it and I got it on sale for £15!! It was originally £20 which is still cheap. When I got in I found a necklace that matches exactly! woo hoo..I'm going to christen it tonight as I'm going to the cinema to see the Lovely Bones (I read the book and thought the story was so good)So now cue the posy pics of me loving my bag :)

Cupcakes

Hi Dolls, Hope your all having a good week.
I'm really in the mood at the moment for baking something! and whats cuter than cupcakes?!
A couple of years ago I got a bit obsessed with making cakes and muffins! It was at least once a week I would of made a cake with pink icing or some sort of muffin.
At Christmas I made some vanilla shortbread in christmas shapes like gingerbread men and stars..I wish I done a little post about it but I didn't have the time.
A couple of birthdays ago I decided to throw a Alice in wonderland themed party and below are the cupcakes I made for it..I was so pleased with how they came out..I almost didn't want people to eat them as they were too cute!

So anyways I'm back in the mood to get the old mixing bowl out..I was browsing through google images for inspiration. I would definatly attempt the more "creative" ones out there as I consider myself quite "arty" (Ooh get me)! but I just don't have that much spare cash at the mo for all the fancy ingrediants a fancy cupcakes requires. I think this time I'll try the rainbow M&M ones, I'll post pics when I'm done :)

Feeling Blue?...

Hi everyone, On Monday night I ended up cruising the isles of ASDA and came across there makeup range..I spotted this little gem for only £1! They had a few (what seemed to be the newest range) of pretty pastel colours, they also had a selection of vibrent colours and french polishes.
This pretty pastel blue is called Frost Bite.
I'm so impressed, It is quick drying as stated on the bottle and two coats is perfect coverage and goes on very even, the bottle is a bit on the weeny side at 5ml but I don't mind smaller bottles..I think it makes it even cuter :)
