Here is a few pictures of how we decorate our Christmas tree..my mum loves the traditional looking trees with rich colours and warm lights.
We do the lights first and then commence with the layering of ornaments! They range from berrys, cinnammon sticks, gingham bows, robins, bells, birds even birds nests! and lots more.
I love trees to be full, I personally can't stand trees with five ornaments on it..whats the point?! Also one of my favourite things to do this time of year is visit garden centres and look at all the beautiful trees! Plus I always buy one new ornament to hang on the tree..it's my little tradition..Do any of you have Christmas traditions?

Christmas kitchen
I wanted to share what Christmas looks like in my house..My kitchen is decorated very 'country/shabby' so these purple lights look stunning against the cream walls and wooden beams. They have about 20 different settings..flashing/twinkling/fading etc. We attached purple glitter snowflakes and baul balls and one purple bird..who is so cute. At night it looks like a magical winter wonderland kitchen..if I had it my way I'd keep them up all year!
Gorgeous christmas decorations...
Yesterday I popped into Homebase and all there Christmas decorations were on sale already!
The decorations I chose below were about £4.99 each and were all reduced to 49p!!! The pictures do not do them justice, they are so pretty. I took two pictures of the reindear, one with flash, one without to try and capture how sparkly it is..it looks like diamonds!

Dear Santa...
I've been wishing for a laptop for a while now but sadly cannot afford one right now :(
I've seen some nice ones out there but this one below is sooo pretty!
I found it on Kim Kardashian's blog..(wish I had her bank account)! I hate to think how much this one would cost!
I would be able to update my blog on a regular basis as we share one computer in my house which is a pain...if only Santa knew how much of a good girl I've been this year! Oh well, I'll just have to stare at the picture of it instead!

Im sooo ill...
Hi guys, So as you've probably guessed..I'm ill! I've caught a cold from somewhere or someone.
I feel terrible :( Last night was the worst night so far, the cold came out on Tuesday morning.
I didn't sleep a wink last night, my eyes feel like they are going to explode! I've got all the classic horrible symptoms..runny nose, sinus, aches, sore throat and no energy...seriously..I look like a zombie right now.
I've been drinking Beechams cold and flu hot berry drink and that hasn't really done anything! and I'm taking Tunes to ease my throat..I'm going to have to drag myself out of my bed and head to Tesco (I hope I don't bump into anyone)! to buy some Night Nurse as my last resort, I hope this works!
I had so many plans this week that I've had to cancel and so much work to do and I'm so angry that I can't do any of it.
Do any of you have any cold curing remedies for me to try? I'm willing to try anything!!!

Fur coats and David Gest!...
Today I went into Shepperton with my sister as they have lots of charity shops there. I'm after a faux fur coat and charity shops are the best places to look for one! I tried on one and it was actually real fur! :( I would never get a real one, there is just no need for that at all. I tried on quit a few others but they were all a little too big for me so I left empty handed...The upside to my day though was seeing David Gest! My sister and I turned into giggly fans and we waved and called his name..he was super sweet and waved and blew us a kiss! Aahh so cute! Its so nice when you meet a genuinly nice celebrity! :0 )

How to wear over the knee boots...
Hi, Here are a few different looks on how to wear over the knee boots. These ones are from Primark and were a bargain at £15! They also came in black but I loved the colour of these as they were a copy of a pair that I wanted from Next.
My tips would be to layer clothing..thin cardis with smock tops, skinny jeans or floaty dresses with chunky knit cardigans. (use belts for defanition) I also love to team them with ribbed or patterned tights and winter shorts.
I've decided to do more fashion related posts as the winter nights are upon us! (BRrr) and I find it can become more difficult on choosing a cosy outfit yet still keeping it stylish! So there will be more to come..
Let me know what you think..enjoy! :) (click on pictures to enlarge for more detail)

Mini Haul
Hi, I just popped into boots today and picked up to new lippies!
The first one is by Rimmel, it's from the new range of colours and it's called true vintage.
I LOVE it!..exactly what I've been looking for.
It's a gorgeous deep berry/burgendy matte colour. I personally love dark lips and love them during this time of year, deep berry lips have been a favourite on the catwalk for autumn/winter 09.
The second one is Berry Blush by Natural Collection. A really pretty dusky rose colour with a slight gold shimmer. At £1.95 it makes me love it even more!
The description on the back reads "High shine lipstick that gently moisturises the lips." Perfect for winter!
Here is a swatch of the two..

Asprin mask review
Hi gals, I did the asprin mask last night and I am pleased to say that it did not dissapoint!
My first attempt was mixing it with honey, I think it may be because I had a bit of a headache last night but I just couldn't take the stronge smell, so I used it as a quick scrub and rinsed it off after a few seconds. After having it on for that short amount of time my skin felt better!
I mixed up a few more tablets ( I think 3) with a tiny amount of water and left that on my face for 10mins. It gives a tight feeling after about 4mins, the consistancy is crumbly but still stayed on, as long as your not moving around alot! Anways on to the result... my skin was baby soft straight away! and the appearance was matte and texture looked more even.
I didnt put any moisturiser on after as I'm using a bit of a cheapy one at the mo and didn't want it to effect the result.
I woke up this morning and my skin was still nice and matte (usually oily), the redness from my spots had gone down and I even noticed some small scarring on my cheeks had faded!
I am definatly going to do this mask at least once every 2 weeks! I think it would be brilliant before a night out!

Asprin Mask
Hi Everyone, I just got back from a great 5 days away in Disneyland Paris!
One night we went for dinner in Annette's Diner, this really cute cool 50's looking diner and the staff are all on rollerskates, which I loved!..they make these incredible milkshakes, (of course it would be rude not to get one!) I choose a peanut butter one (tasted like Reeses pieces)
I regreted it straight away as my skin ERUPTS when I have anything peanut related!..
So I've heard raves about the asprin mask and thought nows the perfect time to try it. Have you ever tried it?
Im going to use about 4 tablets, drip a small amount of water and then add the honey, I know honey is good for your skin but it will also keep the mask on. I'm going to leave it for about 10mins then rinse with warm water.
I have never done this before so I will let you know how my skin is tomorrow..Im excited to do this as I haven't heard anything bad about it and I haven't done a homemade mask in yonks! Below is the honey and asprin I purchased..Honey from Sainsburys £2.20ish and tablets were a bargain at 13p!
